Random Thoughts Number 4

Akame - Peeing Dog.jpg

When we went hiking yesterday we saw this poster. I don't know what it's for, but the biggest question is what is the dog peeing on? It's another one of the mysteries we have to figure out.

Here are a couple random things that have come up.

  • On Wednesday I had to get up early and go to a Kindergarten. So I biked down to the station and parked my bike where I normally do. Except today there weren't any other bikes there. I assumed it was because it was really early and no one had shown up yet. But later that day I found out I was wrong. I came back to Juso from my Kindergarten visit and wanted to go home and shower and get something to eat. I started to look for my bike, but it was not where I parked it. (by this time there were a lot of bikes there). Then I noticed a few white pieces of paper taped to the ground. The only thing I could make out on it was today's date. So it turns out they were doing a sweep and my bike was impounded. So this morning I had to get up and got get my bike out of Hawk. It was just as if you had your car towed and to get it out. I went to this parking lot, with an area that was roped off with tonnes of bikes in it. I had to fill out a form, pay my ¥2500 and then I got my bike back. The worst part was I only paid ¥6000 for my bike in the first place.
  • In my three year old class the other day I had to teach,"This Little Piggie" (This little Piggie went to Market, This little Piggie Stayed home...). Which brought some memories of Granddaddy playing this with me. (And the same memories for Court). After that class I decided this goes in the file "Things five years ago I never would have thought I'd be doing", teaching Japanese kids This Little Piggie Went to Market. Oh well it was pretty cute. But we had books to do this. We didn't use their feet.
  • I forgot to write this in the actual blog entry. But when we went to the Umeda Sky Building we were biking in and this happened.

USB - Poop.JPG

I got pooped on by a bird. That's ok, I think it's good luck or something.
